[The plateau a ways off of the central entrance to Umbra Cave is a low one, though it's elevated enough to give a decent view of the area. Maxie is comfortable here, familiar with the place; he'd used it as a training ground not too long ago

[[As soon as Mitch got the message from Maxie's Swellow, he wasted no time in heading off quickly to where Maxie had stated, humming to himself as he went. Something exciting was happening!

Which was good, really, because having nothing to do was slowly killing him with boredom. Finally! Stuff to do!]]

[Maxie looks up at the sound of the voice, a smirk clearly present across his features; it's familiar, of course. There's no way it wouldn't be. He makes eye contact easily - as best he can, anyway, his vision is still...nowhere near ideal on the left side - but as soon as he does, he's hit with a sudden, hot surge of adrenaline and something like anger coursing through his body, burning like flames, his blood is molten -

It passes just as quickly as it had hit, however, and Maxie shakes his head a bit, convincing himself to shake it off. He's pleased to see Mitch, of course; the obtaining of the Red Orb is a major victory for Team Magma. Then why...?

...he'll deal with it later. It's. It's fine, surely. Something he'll have to learn to control - he's just not reacquainted with the Orb's power yet.

That smirk is back; his expression hadn't faltered far before he'd caught himself. Perhaps it would just be taken as surprise at Mitch's reaction; it had been rather vehement.]

That I did, Mitch.

[He tips his head a bit toward that Orb

[Marge hasn't been on the island for long, but she knows when she's needed. That Swellow was all the hint she was given, but it was just enough. She's made her way to the plateau, not quite hurrying, but at the same time the rush is still present. She's excited to see just what Maxie has in store. It's been awhile since she's gotten to do anything fun.]

[She arrives shortly and smirks at Mitch. Marge doesn't offer them a greeting though, instead glancing up to Maxie.] Hey, boss. I take it you've got something for us to do now, hmm?

[Well, well. There's his girl.]

There's no need to be rash, Marge - let's just wait for Mack to arrive, shall we?

[He shifts his position a bit, lifting that orb so it's a bit more visible; you were one of the people assigned to research this, you should know what it is.]

After all, with this in our possession, taking a few more minutes won't hurt anything.

[ Mack is a little bit slower, simply due to the fact that the Swellow messenger caught him while he was training with his Slugma which, thanks to Maxie's generosity, had doubled in numbers from two to four. And boy, is that absolutely exciting for Mack!

But, their leader calls, so he (at least slightly reluctantly) puts the training on hold to head over to Umbra Cave. He remembers the way well (though he didn't really want to remember the last time he was there) and soon enough he's walking on in with the slightest of smirks on his face. ] Sir.

[He'll just be motioning downward with his free hand, then, the gesture flippantly casual.]
