[For those who don't know, Shiki is trying to get some of the toughest-looking Pokemon around because he thinks they're strong and can take on a certain Gaycheese. Being off the island for some time gave him that kind of opportunity, right? RightThis is Shiki. He's in the CMA. He's trying to train a green Hoppip. He's trying to teach it Swords ( Read more... )

[How interesting! Cilan was walking around the CMA to find a training spot with his grass menagerie...but what does he spy?]

Well, you are certainly a sight for sore eyes, Shiki. [He looks over to the little Hoppip. ...Green, and cute. Nice.]

[Pffft stop bouncing for one second. Darn Hoppip.

...Oh, hey there.]

I could say the same, Cilan. [Bouncy Hoppip is bouncy and is curious in this green person. Maybe she thinks you're grass. That cowlick you have sure doesn't help.]

...You wouldn't know how to handle this Pokemon perchance, would you?

[You are an adorable grass type, okay Hoppip? Cilan will hold out his hand, thinking over Shiki's words.]

It all depends on how exactly you plan to train it. I've never trained a Hoppip myself...what role does the little one have on your team?

[Hoppip finds your hand more interesting than bouncing, so it will float midair to sniff it.]

She doesn't seem very offensive, but rather bulky. She may come in handy for taking one of that bastard's Pokemon's attacks or so. [It is rare that Shiki will ever use Ghetsis's real name.]

[Saph spots the Hoppip while walking around, so the situation catches her attention.]

Ummm...it looks like you have a big problem here.

[Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy! Hoppip sure loves to Splash about!]

You're telling me. This thing won't even sit still for one second so I can teach it Swords Dance.

[Perhaps that's all the Hoppip knows? Well it would bother this trainer anyway...

Oh well, advice time. In her case, she doesn't even care if its bad advice.]

You have any bitter herbs around to maybe settle it down?

Herbs? I don't have any on me at the moment, but do those really work? [Have a headtilt. The only things Shiki knows about herbs is that Pokemon don't really like them. But maybe this Hoppip will be the exception, being a Grass type and all.]

[You're not the only one out to train a new addition, Shiki! red, cloaked as usual, is heading off o train his newly-hatched Solosis. He... Doesn't really have any clue what it is.]

... Huh. That's unusual. [... Voice masked, of course. He's referring to the color of your Hoppip.]

[Have a curious look, Red.]

Are green Hoppip uncommon? [Guess who's never heard of "shiny" Pokemon before? Also, nice Solosis you have thar.]

... Yeah. Most Hoppip are pink. Oddly colored Pokemon are a rarity in any species.

[Why thank you! It's a curious little babby, so it will come investigate Other Small Green Pokemon.]

Pokemon have more than one color? [Yes he heard your statement about oddly colored Pokemon being rare. Do not ask how his brain works.] I've only seen Pokemon of the same color... Though a friend's Serperior did a look a little different in color than regular Serperior. [Lucky Astrid.

Also, bouncy Hoppip will float in midair and look down at the other green Pokemon. It's not as green as she is, but it reminds her of dew on grass.]
