[There was this awesome moment, when Lani discovered everything was free and he could live alone without anyone knowing who he is or telling him how and when to do things.
And then there was the discovery that it meant eating at the cafe or one of the lake restaurants every single day.
It was fun for a week (even though it was kinda hard when he couldn't speak or read his own language, a lot of pointing was involved). But then it got boring soon.
So these last two days, Lani's been working at the small kitchen provided by the island in his small house. THANKFULLY NONE OF YOU WILL SEE THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST EXPERIMENTS, but now that stuff's acceptable it's still... weird.
Right now he's laying a whole load of misshapen cookies on a table outside his house to cool. And some bread.
There's also some mysterious little boxes wrapped with ribbons.
Approach? Just don't mind the burnt smell coming from inside the house]
