Well, Pokemon can get pretty badly roughed up, y'know. An' some of those attacks look painful. [Like oh, Flamethrower? Yeah. At least he doesn't have to deal with that burn now!]

Aw, that's fine. Getting hurt is no big deal, so long as you get okay again eventually. [Barring BIG HUGE INJURIES, that is, but pokémon battles back home were always relatively save.]
