Challenge 037: Fanart
We'll be taking on a different sort of challenge this week. I've often debated over whether having this challenge since the beginning of the comm but will allow this under certain conditions. Perhaps I'll make this challenge a two-week challenge but that all depends on you guys. Fanart will be our main subject but be sure to read very carefully over what you can use. These are very specific rules that are different from our other challenges so read ahead!
Also, please get the icons in for our 50ICONS Comm Project! Gonna need 'em in!
❝fanart&rules❞
→ You may use fanart of anything related to this fandom (tcg, anime, manga, etc.), but only if you source where the original art is located. Google/Imageboards/Photobucket do not count.
• Pixiv.net and deviantART.com can be used since many artists choose to share their works on these sites. Again, please source the the artist's page if you are using. On a side note, you can also get in contact with them to stay on the safe side.
→ For the love of god, porn/hentai/ecchi isn't allowed. Sorry guys, it's not happening. *hears groans*
→ What if the artist closed their site but saved their work? For this case, please provide the original fanart that has the artist's site name or url. Plenty of fanartists link to their site on the actual art or even showcase their name somewhere.
→ You may choose to icon your own fanwork; just link to your site!

☆ Contestants may submit up to 3 icons per challenge. Icons are to be 100x100 (or less if desired) and must be either .jpg/.png/.gif. No animated icons are allowed for it will be difficult to work with banners. You may blend images if you wish.
☆ All icons are to be new & related to the challenge. Contestants will be disqualified if your submitted icons are used anywhere else anytime during the challenge.
☆ All submissions are to remain anonymous; comments for each challenge will be screened.
☆ Your LJ name must not be visible anywhere on your icons; they will not be accepted.
☆ Please upload your submitted icons to servers such as Photobucket, TinyPic, or ImageShack.
☆ There will be winners for First, Second, Third, Mod's Choice, & Special Category: Most Usable Icon.
☆ Use any image you wish that counts as fanart only.
☆ You must use the submission form below; failure to do so will not be accepted.

☆ Entries will be accepted until August 28th at 11PM, USA Eastern Time.
