I love it, very pretty! The coloring texture really adds to Pidgeotto, too. <3
The colors themselves look good too; did you scan it? I always have trouble getting my watercolors onto the computer; either the scan makes it too saturated or photographing it makes it too gray/dull. xD;;
I did, and if you look at the red edge on the tail feathers you can see where the contrast is kind of screwy. I had a fax/print/scanner combo that hated red so we got a canon flatbed scanner at a garage sale and it seems to be doing better.
I think drawing them all if challenging, but not grueling. Drawing them all in order I find very hard, especially coming up with ideas/poses, etc. I think it is really fun though so you should do it!
Thank you! I really like how he came out. Actually I was pretty sure I would start the project and get board and quit, but it has been the perfect mix of challenging but fun. And I feel like it is really helping me figure out how I like to draw. I get to explore a lot of different techniques.
