And now, a serious post about me.

I've wanted to make this post for a while now. I never bring it up with people in casual conversation because... well, it just doesn't happen. But it is a strong part of my identity, and I think I just want to write about it ( Read more... )

That was really interesting and thought-provoking to read, maybe especially for me because I've wanted to have plastic surgery since I was in high school.

I tell myself I've spent 21 years becoming comfortable with the way I look, and I don't want to spend another 20 years getting comfortable with a new look.

I think it's awesome that you feel that way :)

Wow, that's really interesting, especially all the surgeries to try and fix things. Also that was a horrible guidance counselor (MAYBE SHE WAS GETTING PAID BY THE PHYSICS TEACHERS--I mean) :/

(PS is this when I admit I did not actually realize you had a cleft lip? I think it was a combo of my stellar observational/social skills and my memory >>)

... You know, I met you albeit briefly and I don't remember anything about a cleft lip. Shows how attentive I am!

Anyway, that was actually really interesting to read about, so thank you for writing it ♥. Also high five buddies who can't breathe through their noses!

I tried so hard for that milk to come out too....XP

Seriously Big, you should maybe think about writing for a magazine or something. Find a cool one. Not one of the stupid ones we read on the planes, lol.

What was that one story you wrote for me....it was how burps or farts came to be. They graduated. That story was pure genius. Haha.

But no, really, being serious now. I really think that maybe you should try looking at doing some writing on the side or something. (Since you probably want to start off small in terms of what your first job is ^_^)

P.S. I'm super excited for you to come! I really need some family time. :) Not to mention the week you come, I have a midterm Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I will want to relax. Haha

smallish one who can't make milk come out of her nose no matter how hard she closes her mouth and swishes the milk around (then it just gets warm and gross)

That was a pretty fascinating read, both the technical and personal sides of the story. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
