I hear Gryffindor is having a Halloween party. Why the hell are they having a party and we aren't?

Riddle, can we have a party? I think we should have a party.

Or crash theirs...

((ooc: *assumes that Malfoy and Riddle would be friends*))

I was personally thinking of stumbling upon their party simply out of curiosity, but I'm sure it would get dull after awhile. What sort of party did you have in mind? If the other Slytherins aren't opposed to it, I think it would be an excellent idea.

and if someone happens to get lost and find themselves at the Gryffindors party, well....

It might be worth taking a look at certainly, but I bet they have colored streamers and tacky colored lights and talking pumpkins.

We can so do better. The house elves will provide some sort of refreshments, I'm sure. And I'm sure we'll find ourselves some liquor around here somewhere. You know. Something classy and befitting of Slytherin.

I thought I heard Bella mention that she was going to crash the party in costume. Odds she'll last in there more than ten minutes?

Yes we cannot exactly expect the Gryffindors to be very...creative. And you can only be so classy when associating with Muggle-Borns .
How about a masquerade? I think that would be very fitting for our house. We can open it up to other houses as well, with limitations of course. It is about time we Slytherins came together for some real fun. I'm sure you can handle procuring the refreshments? You know I can't tell you to bring liquor but as long as everyone is discreet I can turn a blind eye .
Perhaps we can use this event for some healthy discussions as well.

Excellent idea. A masquerade is perfect. Just the right touch of class.

Spread the word, sir. Tell everyone (and by everyone I mean everyone worth having at this sort of thing) that we're having a masquerade.

I shall take care of all the refreshments.

I like how you think.
