thanks to q1, i was able to cross off a goal (#51) on my list: receive a tarot deck.

what she sent me has the most awesome, amazing power i have ever been able to hold in my hands. it is the Thoth deck, and as soon as i put my hands on them, it was instant syncopation. my energy melded with its energy and i could feel it quivering through my body

Decks can be so creepy!

My tarot deck doesn't work for me at all. It's true what they say - it has to be given to you as a gift. I bought a beautiful dragon deck that unfortunately does nothing for me.

My Animal Oracle deck is a completely different story. The reads on that are accurate and sometimes it does things just to fucking eerie to be called anything else.

So she suggested picking the cards by the ones that fall out on their own, eh? That's interesting. I lay mine out in a long line, then hover my hand over them. I stop and pull out the ones that gives off a larger wave of energy than the others.

I've never been that good with tarot; I use runes for all of my stuff. I read them better than cards. Which reminds me, my runes have been MASSIVELY neglected lately. nnng.

Courtney, any time. Not sure how accurate the reading will be since I'm still a total n00b to this, but you were able to read my runes REALLY well long-distance (like, scarily so), so I think the connection is there.

I would totally read your tarot for you! The more readings I do, whether for me or myself, the more connected I get to the deck and the more accurate I become as a reader.

Naw! It's all based on interpretation, and what people perceive to be negative cards (like the Death card, for instance), don't literally mean it. When the Death card comes up, it signifies change and transformation, so in all actuality, it's a positive card.
