[A - Action, around town]

[At first, Ivy had been scared. Who wouldn't be? She woke up to the whole city being devastated, incinerated bodies... yes, there was a lot to be scared about.

So she does the first thing she ever does when something happens in the city that might represent some kind of danger for people: Check on Harley. You might see him ( Read more... )

[Peter is anything but smiley when he sees the grinning super-villain making her way down the street, headed... somewhere. Peter knows one thing: when there is an apocalyptic event, only three types of people sport grins: the victims who are left in shock, the insane watching it all unfold, and the ones holding the big red button. That means the odds are against Ivy being just another innocent victim. So before he walks over to Bunker Street for the DA meet-up, he's taking a small detour... by following Ivy to see where she goes. He stays in the shadows of the wreckage and falls into step.]

[Surprisingly (or not?) Ivy does nothing out of the ordinary. She just walks back home to make sure the rest of her family is alright... stopping here and there to look at the plants remaining.]

[Peter is just confused. What the hell? She didn't... do anything. She just meandered home, stopping to smell the roses along the way! What kind of person worries about plants in the wake of a nuclear explosion? She doesn't seem like she's up to anything; she's just cheerful. [So Ivy might not be the most scary and angry villain at first sight. She's alright with that, it has never bothered her. They fear her enough when they realize what she can do after all.

Oh I am not explaining 'radiation' and 'nuclear waste' and 'atoms' to you. Let's just say it's what the bomb leaves behind in the air, and kills most things. Now there's less, but it could still be dangerous so let's be careful.

[A beat.]

...And bombs are the things that explode and destroy stuff. Just in case.
