Avengers vs. the Pet Avengers by Chris Eliopoulos and Ig Guara

The Pet Avengers fight some dragons, then the dragons fight the Avengers, then the Pet Avengers fight the Avengers. Then everything’s okay! I only had the vaguest idea of what was going on here or who anyone was, but it was still pretty cute.

Oh, man, Izzy/Eden. :-/ I really wanted to like that one, but it ended up being my second least favorite relationship in the series, for all the reasons you list here.

I often end up being waaaaay more fond of the unresolved-secondary-romances in Brockmann's books (and I sometimes remain fond of them by the time she wraps them up in another book), because there's usually a lot less of the baby crazy and idiot-ball carrying among them. It's sort of like watching Flying Down To Rio for Fred and Ginger, if you know what I mean. :)

Yeah, I liked Jane and Cosmo and Ken and Savannah but otherwise I haven't been big on her primary romances. Alas.
