Oh GOD NO. The Phillies are getting ALTERNATE JERSEYS! Sob. The very small upside is that Cole Hamels will model them. But that is, as I said, small. *curls in a ball* I'm not against alternate jerseys, per se. I just. Don't see the point to them? Did you see the new alternative jerseys? I like them. They're different but that's because I'm so used to the pinstripes. I don't really like the hat though. But they're modeled after the Phils' uniforms in the 1940s.

Oh? I thought that the pictures on the link up there were just a placeholder and not what they actually look like! ETA: Apparently I'm correct. Where did you see the new jerseys? It says they're being unveiled on the 29.
Is the hat the the script letter P, like the Whiz Kids? I actually like that.

I was expecting them to be bright red which (like the Sawx alternates BLEH), do not want. D:

Basically the same uniform, just without the red pinstripes.

Ew, alternate jerseys. But at least they're not like the BRIGHTRED! of the Red Sox' softball-looking ones. Plus, y'know. Cole Hamels as a model, ahaha.

I told my brother about the piggies & he almost started crying this morning. :'( That's just. Awful. :(

They're so sweet and helpless and innocent. It hurts. A few made it out safely and I wanna go and hug each and every one of them. :(
