The Boards, Pre-Dawn Thursday Morning
So, Karla had come up with a plan. A plan that even she wasn't sure would work; for one thing, it hinged on a double agent that Karla wasn't entirely sure she trusted--though, to be far, Karla wasn't big on trusting most people right now--and for another, it meant she was voluntarily going to be Imperio'd. That was...dangerous. To say the least. And she wouldn't even think about subjecting herself to that if it weren't for the other half of her plan: Lady Ghanima.
If there was anyone who could help Karla throw off mental subjugation, it was her Sayyadina. Without Ghani's help, Karla wouldn't even attempt this; she'd've found a way to fake being Imperio'd or done away with this plan all together.
But she was here and their double-agent would arrive soon enough. They needed time to go over her plan (and argue about it, if Karla was any judge), before putting it into action.
