I'm working with a beer trolley these days. It's 32 60 ml syringes connected to plastic tubing that feeds through a hollow mouthpiece from which a rat can lick and receive a drip of fluid. Isn't beer on little low on the psychoactives food chain for you? Was there a budget cut?

Heh, ethanol is a pretty simple molecule, and alcoholism isn't a primary interest of mine. It's been interesting to learn the use of this equipment though, because self-administration of any drug is a useful paradigm. Nevertheless I hope to return myself to my normal channel soon, focussing mostly on cannabinoids.

Au contraire on the budget cut - this lab is pretty well equipped!
