I should never, ever, ever doubt Phaedra. I mean, I felt it was reasonable, given the circumstances! She is giving birth to her first child, this generation's first grandchild, this week. Well, even in the last days of pregnancy you do stuff. Think about it. Do you want to lie around and contemplate the upcoming surgery/labor and the sleep-deprived happy days to follow? Or do you want to go and do life stuff?

I had a good friend get married on my due date. I went to the wedding, huge and waddling, but I went. People were surprised at me, but I asked them what they expected me to do. Lying around going "I'm soooooo pregnant" gets old, believe me.

Congrats to Phaedra! Get done what you can now! ;)

I guess I just didn't expect it -- but then, she's so organized, you're right. She's probably had the bag packed, gas in the car, and all the various and sundry forms filled out for a bit. :) I just guess I figured with such a big life event, she might have other priorities than my wee little article, and I appreciated it. :)
