I currently use Evernote (full credit to sascha for introducing me to it), but I might have to take Springpad for a test drive when I get a smartphone

I'd consider looking into Springpad when that desktop app comes along. :-)

Yeah, I agree - I do consider Evernote's desktop application a tremendous advantage.

There are 3100 notes in my Evernote, which makes switching probably a bit tough. :-)

Btw.. if I forgot to mention it, there's also an Evernote app for android

Whee! Android's got everything! Well, almost everything - SlingPlayer Mobile still has a "coming soon" status. Still, though, a pool full of goodies into which I'm about to dive, yay!
