I'll be honest - the most exciting part of this entry was an ACTUAL PICTURE OF YOU.

The whole escapade sounds AMAZING. I long for a place big enough to actually have good, original, competitive food. Some day when I'm rich and famous I'm flying down to do the Taste of Atlanta with you.

*blush* Thank you. I am somewhat shy about having my picture taken because of my rosacea. I was willing to post this one because it was taken early in the day when it was still overcast and cool. Even so, this post will probably become friends-locked in about a week, after a few friends outside of LJ see it.

I'd love for you to come down, sweetie, and you don't have to be rich and famous! Whether it is Taste weekend or not, I promise to take you for good eats! :) Wouldn't it be fun to discover a great eatery via one of the booths, and then go there for dinner or brunch the next day?

Sounds like a fun day! No rain, and you actually saw the sun! I'm jealous, I've only heard rumors about the shiny orb in the sky!

I'll trade you! The sun and I are barely civil to one another, on account of the rosacea. I tolerate it because of that whole sustaining life on Planet Earth thing, ;) but we're not best friends! ;D

Gorgeous food photos, delicious commentary (I gobbled it up!), and a rare glimpse of the real you! How could I resist? :)

I love the part about the clueless chef-accoster. And I wants has the chicken drummettes... maple syrup strikes me as a terrific thing to put on fried chicken.
