Primal Fear

I just saw Primal Fear, and I quite liked it. I can't tell you why without spoiling it, though. Suffice to say that Edward Norton is impressive in his first major role, and I understand the decisions he made as an actor. The whole cast is good; I always enjoy Alfre Woodard, and Frances McDormand is particularly thoughtful in a supporting role.

Ed Norton was amazing in that movie. He's the best thing about that movie. I think the movie might have been really really bad if it were not for his performance.

Yeah, having someone meh in that part would've weakened the movie significantly, given that it's such a pivotal role. However, I just read that apparently his screen tests were so electrifying that it caused a buzz around Hollywood at the time.

He's a phenomenal actor. Have you seen The Illusionist? He's one-half of what I think is the hottest screen kiss I've seen in easily the last five years, and possibly the last ten.
