Opening the doors

For ages I've limited commenting here to registered LJ users only because I didn't want web-crawling spam robots to post ads in my journal the way I've seen happen with blogs. However, I miss hearing from my non-LJ using friends here, so I'm opening the doors. You are now able to comment here whether you have an LJ or not. If I start getting spam

My LJ is unrestricted, and I wind up deleting about one spam comment per month. Strangely, it's always to the same very old thread.
