Second project: scarf

Jul 20, 2006 00:35

My second project, linked below, is a scarf. It's to be a thank-you gift for my MiL, since she actually showed me the double crochet stitch that I used, and gave me part of the yarn (Caron's Perfect Match, if anyone is curious). Your picture isn't showing up.:-(

Good luck with the pineapples they look more intimidating than they really are.

D'oh! I have no idea why: I checked the IMG SRC tag and everything. Might be something with Picasa. I changed it to a link:

Thanks for the kindly words of support. :)

That is a beautiful scarf! (although I agree with the above, it isn't showing up in your post, I needed to riffle to find it)

Also:
I love pineapples; I have tons and tons of pineapple patterns. (Addicted much? :p)
They are so pretty and incredibly easy!

In fact, I won at my county fair using pineapples!

Wow, that looks intricate. Well done, and congratulations! Thank you for sharing the picture.

I have no idea why the piccie isn't showing up. I edited it to be just a link; perhaps that will help.

Thanks for being so nice about the scarf. It's only my second project, so I'm still getting my feet wet, as it were. :)

It's very impressive for a second project, I know I didn't do nearly as well on my second try, or my third or fourth for that matter.

And a secret about the doily: it's all about the pineapples; I swear they are like, magic or something, they are so easy, and everything made with them looks so cool!
