I read about this, apparently there was a lot of catcalling going on. Fucking bastards.

I love Bernie Sanders, he's a goddamn badass. He brought Burlington back around in the mid 80's, even the crusty ass ultra-rural 7 generations Vermonters dig him, "He's a socialist, and he's our goddamn socialist."

In fairness, you aren't nearly so upset with Senate Democrats holding up Bush's judicial nominations for going on four years now. When you're making blanket assertions, remember to consider whether the same behavior benefits positions you happen to agree with.

Very cool new logo, by the way.

I'm a little unclear -- are you addressing Tag or me? You replied to his comment, but seem to be responding to my post. And FWIW, you're quite right, the Dems are just as bad. We were talking about that in the car today. I think I read on Metafilter a few days ago that several Democrats (none from the South, at least) had written the UN requesting that they oversee our next presidential election! Yes, the hanging chads were bad, but let's try to put things to rights ourselves before calling them in. The UN politely declined, which is why I didn't bother blogging it (since nothing came of it), but I just couldn't believe that they'd actually go outside our own country to try to gain political power. I was appalled.

It's just so dirty on both sides of the aisle. :(

I have had the TWoP icon for a while -- I just rotate 'em every now and then. :)

I was replying to you. Thanks for admitting that both sides play the same way; I'm just unclear why it's relevant that you remember conservatives at Demosthenian (all three of us) doing anything in particular. You were at least strongly implying that it's a conservative trait, and that's so laughably untrue that it's beneath you to even try to get away with it ;) Speaking of weaseling :)
