After they landed in Paris in the morning, they gathered their luggage and took a cab straight to her apartment. It was a relief to Arthur to finally be somewhere he had some familiarity with. Everything reminded him of Ariadne and it was a comfort.

"Is there anything else you need?" she asked as she took her bag into the bedroom. "I mean, if you'll be... moving in here. Is that all of your things?"

“No, this is everything,” he replied as he made his way to her bedroom behind her. “I don’t have much anyways.”

"Okay." She glanced around at him. "Um. Here, I'll make some room for your clothes." She went to her dresser and started rearranging things. "Make yourself at home, you can change around anything you want, except my drafting table, if you please."

“You sure?” He lays his suitcase down and unzips it, flipping the top off and taking out his clothes. Most of it needed to be washed. “Where do you poor your laundry?”
