[A panicked voice rings out across the journals. Bosch happens to find his journal, and as soon as he realizes it's a communication device, he starts calling for help. He's never been outside before, so the sunlight is blinding to him.]

Please! Someone help me! I'm somewhere on the surface. I can't find my way back, it's too bright to see.

[Vash has been manning one of the new posts in the forest. He hears that yell over the journals. Time to do his job!]

You can't see anything at all?

[Ah, he dislikes hierarchies.] It’s true, unfortunately no one has been able to stop them yet. And there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to who and why they take people. [Aha! He spots you and hurries over] Hey there, there’s a stand nearby and it should be darker there for you. [Then slowly and gently places a hand on your shoulder hopefully in a way that won’t startle you too badly if you can’t see.]

Ah, thank you. [His eyes are tightly closed. He allows Vash to guide him.]

Take me underground. I've never been outside before, my body isn't used to it.

[Vash pauses thinking.] The tunnels then. It's the closest place I know of to get underground. [Leads the way!] Uh, you don't have any magical abilities that you need to live do you?

Alright then. [When they get to the tunnels he'll put the rope in your hands and help you get on.] Be careful.
