Here is more Doctor Who fic. But this time it is ridiculous crossover fic wherein Draco Malfoy is laconic and the Doctor displays evidence of borderline histrionic personality disorder. Everything is good.

Once again, link me to cool things in the comments and I will read them.

THAT IS ADORABLE AND PRICKLY LIKE A BABY HEDGEHOG. I love it.

The only cool things in my brain at the moment are Doctor/Master things because my academic schedule is such that my fannishness has to be whittled down to a single obsession at a time. So...dwseason5 by ariastar and New Dawn Fades by omphalos are worthwhile if you haven't read them already. And I wrote physics disguised as fic (or possibly the other way around) to complement my previous biology & chemistry pieces.

Aw, Fahye, you are kind. But writing in a new universe is bloody difficult. And I've never been comfortable with dialogue, and so instead you get silly, vaguely fluffy snark. It is because David Tennant's speech patterns are so very seductive.

Eee, thankyou for your Doctor/Master recs. I fear my brain is going to explode with how awesome that pairing is one of these days.

Your fic is, as always, amazing. I love the things that you (and people that write the Doctor well) pick up on: your Doctor is all about running from the vortex, playfulness, sidestepping, dodging responsibility in the most responsible way he can. + Schrodinger's time machine ftw. :D

There is nothing wrong with a nice dose of silly, fluffy snark. Nothing at all.

*beams at you* I get the Doctor, I just don't feel comfortable with his voice. The Master is a lot easier. I really don't know what this says about me. NOTHING GOOD I SUSPECT.

Hmm, the only other thing I've written recently was this Tempest thingo, in which I stole your old habit of just leaving blank spaces for scene breaks. It feels deliciously lazy and daring.

also, I dont know if you like Torchwood at all, but the best thing I've read in a while is A Strange Fashion of Forsaking and its sequels, by RM & Kalichan.

Hehe. Thanks for the link, Greenie. I'm still on Season 1 of Torchwood, but the crossovers and chat means I've been spoiled for lots of it, will definitely give the fic a go, it seems like the sort of canon I'd get into just for the fic, heh.

Glad you enjoyed it-- the lovely fahye just linked me to some more of your fics, so they're on the agenda for today. Also dwseason5 looks awesome. I have many Doctor Who mad non-fandom friends who I think would very much enjoy it... The show is, to put it mildly, rather addictive.

Ten is a complete attention-whore, and knows it. He is so the Dr Cox of the Time Lords, but with better hair.
