A question of business etiquette:
When one receives a request to remove a company from ones mailing list, is it appropriate to email back a confirmation that it has been done, or would this be classified as further unwanted spammage?

Answers on a postcard, or just scribble below.

I'd suggest that a short, polite, one-off email to confirm that the request has been actioned is probably appropriate.

agree - when i have asked I have always appreciated knwoing that it has been actioned

Defo agree - otherwise person doesn't know it's been actioned and will likley assume they've been ignored.
