To those of you who may have insight into such things, I was curious how difficult it has been in the past to come by PaleyFest tickets for the POI panel ( Read more... )

I just did a google search and while info is there it doesn't say anything about POI being at Paley Fest this season! Argh. Just new shows for some reason, though they were there last year ( ... )

*Nod* That is the information I received in an e-mail today that prompted my post. :)

I'm somewhat concerned about affordability, so I'd like to avoid the $75 membership fee if I can -- especially if I'm unable to borrow frequent flyer points from someone I know like I'm hoping to -- but if I can save on the flight, I may be able to do the $75. Unfortunately, how much I want to go does not match up with my financial ability to do so. Oh, to have Finch's unlimited resources... :)

Thanks for the info! Now I want to go to the NCIS: New Orleans one too. *sigh*

At least I can get to NYC cheaply -- I take the MegaBus and if I go during the week, it's even less than on weekends. Still, I'd like to avoid the $75 membership fee too. I noticed there's also an app for the Paley Center too which presumably would let us know as soon as they have the schedule for the October festival.

Seems like Finch won't have as much money to play with this coming season -- not that it will make us feel better about lacking funds, lol.

I'm glad you brought this up because I want to start watching the site (or get the app) to find out as soon as I can about the schedule and tickets and I hope POI won't conflict with my prior committment. According to the site, last year, the POI screening was on October 3, early on it seems.

You're lucky in that regard. Stuck in the middle of the country, an airplane is pretty much the only way I'm getting there. :) I didn't know there was an app. I'll have to track that down.

Haha yeah, but I have a feeling Finch has some super-secret hiding places that will keep him going nicely. I've been avoiding spoilers, so I have no idea what's in store. I'm sure excited to find out though!

Best of luck getting tickets. Hopefully we will both be able to make it there (and they will actually have a panel!) :)
