By what stretch of the imagination would anyone think Reese and Shaw went to high school together?

Luckily, this fandom doesn't seem to generate a huge number of high school AU fics. I hope it doesn't start now.

Seriously, though, wouldn't it have been a better idea for Reese and Shaw to know more about the people they are impersonating before going in?

Probably. But the writers regularly sacrifice the professional abilities of Reese for a good laugh.

Yeah, and while seeing him getting slapped repeatedly is somewhat amusing, I don't enjoy seeing him as the butt of jokes that much. Also, I don't feel he'd be all that okay with Finch going off to D.C. without him (even though Fusco is with Harold) when Vigilance might be around. Still, I guess for those who ship Fusco and Finch, this is going to be a cool episode.

And this bald guy... clearly a threat.

Oh -- Matthew is saying that "Betty" looks ten years younger than everyone else, so I guess that's how they are "justifying" her as this woman. And he knows she's not who she's saying she is. I'm remembering this is the ep where Shaw is supposed to be smitten with the number. How many tropes are they going to pull out in this one?

Yes... look at "Phil," Reese...

OMG... Great fight scene. And "Phil" saying "they said you were fast" -- oh dear. Cyanide pill! The plot thickens. Danger!!

Wait -- what? Root stops by the firefight Shaw and Reese are in to "apologize" and then says Finch is in danger and just leaves them?

Maybe it just looked like she was at the school? I'd have to rewatch it (but I can't! Frustrating ... this is one of those episodes that needs it!).

Finch is in DC ... weren't Shaw and Reese somewhere ioa NY?

I'll have to check it -- with Root, you never know, lol. It looked like she was there but maybe she was talking to Shaw by phone, though if memory serves, I thought she was in the school corridor or something. But then, how could she get from north of New York City where the school reunion was to D.C. to help Harold?

Frustrating about your internet connections. Do you have a laptop you can take to Starbucks or somewhere to watch eps online?

I have two laptops. I'm just not keen on schlepping on down to a free wifi hotspot (and I'd be surprised if it was fast enough for streaming) and sitting in an uncomfortable seat hunched over my laptop w/ earphones on.

I really don't like leaving my system open on public wifi - I avoid using it whenever possible. I cringe everytime I log in at my hotel! And I make sure all my banking and everything I buy online is purchased during my lunch break at work.

I'll be home in a month ... they're all on DVR waiting for me. I'll rewatch everything from Carter's arc onward.

Why would Collier conclude that the government has a "secret system" because Finch and the team save innocent people? Grrr...

He's so smug and he keeps winning. And what's w/ the suicide's? I think they made his group much too powerful for the types of tactics and loyalty they're displaying. Vigilance is too 'perfect'.
