So I got the bug to transcribe Dead Reckoning, my favorite Season 2 episode so far. Not sure I'll ever do it again. I'm completely exhausted. Not much sleep. But I did learn a lot about the intricacies and depth of the writing and acting on our favorite show. Thanks Lindao! I'd sleep if I could, but gotta work and take care of the kids, etc. Hopefuly tonight I can force myself to stay off the computer after the kids are in bed - yeah, right! Not gonna happen! LOL

Wow -- I saw this on the site this morning. What a lot of work. It was tricky when I transcribed the two "Ordos orders" scenes so I am sure you are worn out by doing this.

Sentinel fandom has an entire site of transcripts of all the eps and it's always been so helpful. Maybe we should all take turns doing this for POI!

Thanks April! Taking turns would be a great idea! Transcribing is a mammoth job. Very interesting though. I definitely have an even deeper appreciation for this show and the writing and the characters.

One of the unexpected things was that I really appreciate and understand Kara Stanton's character more after doing this. She is extremely snarky to Reese and Snow (very witty!) but justifiably so in a way. Her bitterness and anger was twisted and used by her "savior" to do more evil, while Reese was saved by Finch who was able to turn his efforts towards doing good and redeeming himself and others.

Thanks so much for doing this great work, mamahub. It really is such an interesting and important resource for us all.

I particularly loved all of Stanton's lines, she is so cheerfully deranged:
"This is about three dead little spies in a brave new world. It’s about the afterlife John, and us negotiating our places in it."

The writing is so amazing on this show and I really got to dig deep into it while transcribing. Stanton's lines are awesome.
