Reese's gun cleaning gear

Thanks to slb44, who reminded me about the Internet Movie Firearm Database, I have a image of Reese's arsenal closet that shows some supplies.  Once I brightened the image, I could see what some of it is and, yes, it is gun cleaning supplies.

Although I can't source them, the set of yellow-handled rods appear to the bore cleaning rods; brass brushes ( Read more... )

Wow -- you got a lot from that tiny pic. Thanks for filling us in on the supplies. Very interesting.

I remember an occasion in The Sentinel when Jim smelled something (he has super senses) and Blair asked him what it was. "Hoppe's #9," Jim said, realizing someone had a gun.

Talk about dedication. You really went the distance to break down the "Closet of Dooms's" contents. My crazy thought was Reese is prepared if the machine gets it's wires crossed and Reese has to stop a terrorist attack or he has to invade a small country on his own. LOL

Cribbing from the IMFDB store of photos:

The long gun above the cleaning rods is the Defense Technologies 1315 37mm used by Carter in "The Contingency."

Above it is the grenade launcher from the Pilot.

The pistol to the right of the DT1315 and the blow torch is a Magnum Research Lone Eagle.

The pistol below it could be a 1911.

The steel wool made me smile. Apparently taking perp's guns has some drawbacks in quality. ~.^
