Thank you! I had a lot of fun with this one, mostly because I got the chance to mess around with a character dynamic that doesn't really exist yet (and may never exist, really). I think they'd be cute and normal together, which is kind of a rarity on this show.

I just think Lionel has to have smoked his share of weed. He's a chill guy who's under a lot of stress, and he's also a corrupt cop so I'd kind of be surprised if he hasn't been under the influence of far worse from time to time.

I was already like 'lol, ball gags,' and then when I realized that they both had lion names, I was all over it. Their song will be Lions in Cages, by Wolf Gang, because this is a relationship built upon lion names, bondage, and nothing else.

I finally got Finch and John to toke up in my my story 'Broken Wings'! John is about to get a certain kind of 'munchies', if you get my drift!

This was just adorkable and sounded so perfectly like both of them. Lionel:"“What made you think, after all the crap I went through last time, I’d let some twerp like you put one of these things on me?” 'Twerp' is such a Fusco word, lol.

'Twerp' is totally a Fusco word. It's sharp, bent, and kind of antiquated. Like how Fusco still calls women 'broads.' Sometimes I think that guy's a time traveler from the 30's. He's such a throwback.
