Thanks. ^_^ (I'll assume that means you like it, lol)

The whole calling Finch sir, power-play thing just sort of happened spontaneously. It took so long to write this story, working on it between chapters of other things, I'm surprised it makes any sense at all, lol!

Thanks for reading. :)

The piercings were another surprise that sort of wrote themselves into the story. I'm writing along and Captain Reese drops his pants and says surprise!, and the next thing I know, I'm googling male genital piercings, lol. Gad you liked it. ^_^

Oh, that was just delightful. I haven't watched much Fringe, so I went to Wikepedia to refresh my sketchy memory about its parallel universe stuff before I started the story. (And while reading this second part, I also checked google images for piercings as I wanted to be sure where they were and what they looked like. I've seen pics before, but it had been awhile. And as I scanned a whole page of thumbnails... one was a guiche through an eyelid and I said "eww" and then I had to laugh out loud at myself. I was looking at mostly genital piercings but it wasn't them that made me shudder ( ... )

An eyelid?! I have to agree with 'eww'. I had to look up male genital piercings in order to write the scene. I'm not sure where the idea came from, it just sort of happened. More interesting research, lol.

I've never tried to write that trope before. I absolutely love Jack Harkness! I think a bit of his character might have bled over into Captain Reese, lol. I wasn't sure about making Reese damaged by the sex, but you know me -- the more emotional scars, the better.

Thanks so much!
I haven't started the next chapter of Damaged yet, but I'm pretty sure that Reese will get some serious emotional comfort by the end of the chapter. I think we all will. ;) (Or it'll just piss everybody off; I'm never sure how people will react when I post things, lol)

Yeah, the eyelid was weird. The piercing was at the corner. All I could think of was what if you had to rub your eye or put in a contact? {{shudder}} And it stood out on that page full of genital ones, lol.

I haven't watched Torchwood since "Children of Earth" but Jack is such a great character and when it was episodic, TW was a great show.

You know I'm with you on the subject of emotional scars for Reese.

Saying he'll get some serious emotional comfort in the next chapter makes me very, very happy.
