I love the tie-in at the end of Kirk putting 2+2 together :)

I like how their relationship is progressing and they are becoming more comfortable confiding in each other.

What an excellent story! I love your take on the characters. Kirk's voice is particularly true to canon, but you've captured Spock and Uhura as well. LOL!! Your story premise would help explain why Spock was SO antagonistic towards Kirk in the film. :) Great job! I'm off to read the rest of your stories. :)
