I am excited to say that I finally have a Netflix subscription, which means that I can now check out more recommendations for movies, anime, and TV shows! :)

Ha ha, you probably already know my recommendations! But as for movies, Netflix has a treasure trove of good ones. Have you seen Brick? That's an amazing movie!

I haven't seen Brick -- I should check it out! :) I have already added Samurai Champloo, Haibane Renmei and Mushishi to my Netflix queue. I'll let you know what I think! :)

If you haven't seen them already, you need to watch: Doctor Who, Firefly, Supernatural, Being Human (the BBC version, not the American one), Sherlock (the BBC version), How I Met Your Mother...I'd say Community but I know it's not on the US netflix.

As for movies, I haven't been watching a lot lately, and since I've mostly been watching series I don't really remember what's available on netflix. My fiance recommends the Devil's Carnival, he says I'll really like it, so maybe you will too?

It's interesting that you mention Being Human because I watched the first episode of the BBC version just a few days ago. I thought it was interesting and I'm also wanting to check out the American version (my sister thinks it's better than the BBC one). I'll check out both! :)

Sherlock is amazing (especially Season 2)! I was blown away by the second season and can't wait for the third! I also LOVE Supernatural! It's one of my newest fandoms! <3 Such a great story and awesome characters too! :D I've seen the first three seasons of Supernatural. :) I have also seen the first season of Community -- hilarious! It's another one of my favorites. :)

I haven't seen Firefly or How I Met Your Mother, but plan to check out those as well. I couldn't get into Doctor Who unfortunately. I guess it just doesn't jive with my tastes, but it was good to give it a try. :)

I haven't seen Devil's Carnival but I'll give that a try too! Thanks for all of your recommendations. :)

films: The Perks of Being a wallflower, Making adults (Finnish movie, I think it's on Netflix), Show me Love (Fucking Åmål), Let the Right one in (Swedish version), The Fall...

Of the ones you mentioned, I have only seen The Perks of Being a Wallflower (wonderful movie!). :) I'm glad I got to see it while it was still in theaters. <3 I started to choke up and cry a bit toward the end of the film because it really hit home for me. <3 What did you think of it? :)

I really loved "The Perks of Being a wallflower"! Have you read the book it's based on? I haven't but I really want to after seeing the film. :)
