Oh, such a lovely post! Crows are so adorable and they tend to wake up early. ;) Even if they are always considered messengers death and bad news they are actually daytime birds. There is an old magic spell in Finland for beauty & health and it goes like this:
You have to wake up very early, before the crows wake up. Go to a lake or pond and take some water from there while chanting "Varis vettäsi varastan" which means "Crow I'm stealing your water". That water is considered very blessed and special and they called it the water of the crow. :)
