I've never gotten any trick-or-treaters while living in an apartment complex, either. Do the kids just head over to the nearest subdivision to trick-or-treat?
We had bad weather yesterday, so even though I was visiting a friend who does live in a subdivision (to watch Lost Girl, in fact! It seemed very Halloween appropriate) we didn't see any trick-or-treaters there either. Oh well, better luck next year...
Marshmallow roasting! That sounds delicious. Do you set yours on fire, or do you carefully brown them over the coals? I always mean to brown them, but often I get impatient, and it' just so much faster to set them on fire...
It certainly seems like it. I guess the growing trend these days is to hit the nearest subdivision like you said. I was leaving my Mom's house around 5:30 or 6 I think and there were already several trick-or-treaters making their rounds around her subdivision. My Mom gets a lot of trick-or-treaters each year -- I guess it's because subdivisions are more convenient since all of the homes are clustered together in one area. Do your parents ever get any trick-or-treaters?
Lost Girl is very Halloween appropriate indeed! What episode did you get to? I assume you're on the second season now? :) I thought about watching Lost Girl myself, but ended up continuing where I left off on Supernatural. <3
I usually roast my marshmallows over the flames and try not to set it on fire! lol :) It usually ends up catching on fire anyway, but I usually try to brown them by keeping them a little above the reach of the fire. I like to get them brown, not charcoal black if I can. <3 Yummy! :)
We finished episode 2 of season 2. We're hoping that Netflix gets season 3 on instant by the time we get there. :)
My parents occasionally get trick-or-treaters. A family with children moved onto our cul-de-sac recently, so those kids came by this year. But some years they don't get any.
I hope it comes out on instant for you guys too! :) We'll probably end up watching Season 3 at the same time -- I preordered my copy from Amazon, so it should arrive in the mail shortly after it's released. It'll be cool to watch Season 3 simultaneously and discuss it. :)
