I am in the process of finding some new books to read. Lately (and I mean the past two years or so) I have been reading a lot of political, ecological, religious (atheism), zoological, and general scientific books and essays. The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz. Seriously, one of the best books I've read in ages.

I don't know if you've ever read "Running with Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs, but it is such an amazing book.

Yes! I love that book, in fact, I have read all of his books as they are published. I love his writing. If you liked Running With Scissors, you should read Magical Thinking. It is pretty great, too.
