Soooooo.... Terminator was on again! Hah. Anyway, it made going to the gym more palatable. And I worked out for more than an hour... because I had to stay till the end of Terminator. Hee.

Right, anyway, in other news, Dragoncon!!!

And in real other news, I got into the learn-to-row program!

Well, I'll have little time to focus on the chill, given that I'll be cutting it close to get to the train. So that's something. Still, I'm excited and scared!

Yeah, it didn't occur to me until recently that actually a lot of people haven't even been in rowboats. Whereas we used to play in them all the time. Kind of wish I was more in shape though.

Congrats! When does it start? Best of luck, I loved it when I did it, and I hope you do, too. I'll be taking up winter training in November so we can train together!

I, uh, assumed so. Unless there are other people nearby who also did it stalking me, which, while theoretically possible, seems kind of unlikely on balance.

It starts the 8-9 weekend. And I don't even really know how to get to the boathouse!!! And I have to find out if those random lifeguards at the pool are certified or not!

I think the getting up early thing will be tough initially, but hopefully it'll get easier. (I'm kind of scared!)

If they are a lifeguard, they are certified. You can also do it at the YMCA pool in Princeton for free.

The Boathouse is on Faculty Rd. I can tell you how to get there.

:D

Also, since she forgot to mention it above, we've still got room space.

I called the hotel and put your name on the reservation too. Happy now???

marginally. (Actually, I'd been worried about the room cost before I saw the email, but that's totally do able, even without more people. And it might be kinda neat to be at a con without 47 people in the room with us.)

Especially since we might end up with a king bed, since I was apparently nonspecific and don't care to fix it.
