Mark your calendars! This year we will be running both the traditional Podfic Big Bang (10,000-word minimum) and the Epic Podfic Big Bang (75,000-word minimum) simultaneously. Participants will have the opportunity to choose to join one or both the challenges as they desire. How brave are you feeling?

I am going to ask a remarkably probably stupid question but what does GSD stand for ???

I believe it means "Get Stuff Done!" Kind of cheerleading / prodding / encouragement for the participants.

So I signed up after he day for art requests. Should I do my own artwork or what? I've never done this before, not sure what to do.

You can create cover art for your podfic yourself, if you want. Art is NOT a requirement for posting, so if you don't typically post your podfic with cover art that is completely fine.

We don't have a lot of artists this year (or any year, really), so even people who joined early and managed to meet the art request deadline still don't have artists. I'm afraid this is really a very small, focused challenge and we can't promise art at all.
