Wow! Nice vid. I have the "Sopranos" remastered version, in the first person. It's on my Writing Playlist on Itunes. Sometimes I play it over and over, because I like dark percussive music when I write.
ETA: I didn't realize until halfway through that you made this video. You did, didn't you? Wow again, excellent job!!
Having never seen an episode of the Sopranos (I'd like to say that I'm Making a Statement about Something, but I just haven't been interested), I never would have guessed this song wasn't about Dean.
ahahaha, RIGHT? If I heard it without the associations made by watching every episode of The Sopranos, I would think it suited Dean even better than Tony.
I'm kind of not surprised, it's like, this giant sprawling behemoth of a fandom, lol. I also think the show lends itself to this because it's had three different EPs, and really gone through four big stages of storytelling? So there's a lot of room for different takes on it.
although grrrl, you know I will someday
hmm hmmm. I tend to recommend it to people if they liked Angel? It's similar in that modern American fantasy spin on great classical archetypes and stories. I think it has a lot of the same strengths, but also a lot of the same failings.
Yeah...I've had trouble finding a new show I love. Honestly, my favorite show I watched this year was Don't Trust the B in Apt 23. I'm not sure I have it in me to watch another drama anytime soon.
Yeah....officially I was going to start Six Feet Under now that most of the stuff I like is on hiatus, but I've mostly been catching up on Veep, ahahaha. (SOON THOUGH.)
