There are more than a few good Bela vids! to the point where I actually wonder if she really was THAT unpopular, or if hater-bitches were just a loud, whiny minority and so she ended up being the convenient scapegoat for the quality of the season as a whole.

FOREVER MOURNING. Until proven otherwise, it is my head-canon that Crowley got her out of her deal in exchange for the Colt, or at the very least got her a crossroads gig.

I've seen that Crowley/Colt theory on Tumblr. I can't decide if I want her to come back as a demon in S8 or not because on the one hand MORE BELA but on the other hand, she'd be a villain, presumably, and the boys would undoubtedly kill her in some horrid misogynistic way. Plus, no Lauren Cohan, and I can't imagine anyone else playing her.

Bela as a character got screwed by the writers strike. I would have love to have her be more developed and if they hadn't lost the episodes to the strike it might have happened. I like the idea that Crowley let her out of her deal, or at least got her a Crossroads gig. She'd be good at it.
