Let's see how this goes over. But MY HEART BELONGS TO JOSS, so let's kick it off with Dollhouse and Firefly. LINK AWAY, ( Read more... )

Knowing next to nothing about HP, I can't really play, but I am curious why Mellvemberline (ha!)is the only Active who gets multiple ticky options.

BECAUSE SHE'S THE PRETTIEST, OBVS.

but in seriousness - she was the only one I could think of where we did get to know the original personality, but also had an imprint that was an established character. Echo, Sierra, and Victor were the blank slates of their initial personalities, so they were really residuals of Caroline, Priya, and Tony. Then, as well as we knew Dr. Saunders, we didn't know anything about who Whiskey was to make a judgment about her. But Mellie is a construct built over that tabula rasa in a positive sense, and therefore was at least arguably a completely different person.

I actually did think about this. Then I forgot to use that option. THIS BRAIN IS DEFECTIVE I WISH TO SPEAK WITH THE MANUFACTURER.

That makes sense. Hahahaha, mostly I just wanted to tick ALL THE BOXES for Alpha. I mean, you know he's got a little bit of everything in that head of his. And he'd totally go around wearing all four scarves and possibly have arguments with himself over which Quidditch team to root for.

ha, yes. I kind of massage that requirement to be something that has waxed and waned with the politics of whatever era, rather than..."people with political skill/interest ARE INNATELY FASCIST," which is the implication there. boo.

Inara: I said Ravenclaw; very highly learned, psychology. Likes playing support for people emotionally but I don't think that's the main reason she does it. Used to be ambitious, but we don't know what stopped her.

I thought so, too! From what I saw it looked like this deep curiosity about people and that strikes me as Ravenclawy.

Bennet has some Slytherin but it seems to be accentuated because of her traumas; her initial motivator was friendship, so that might actually place her as Hufflepuff?

oooh, good one!

Alpha: Ravenclaw. I think it's understanding he really seeks, and while he's obviously hugely ambitious I think he wants to find a way to make the voices in his head stop talking, and that's more about mind and thoughts and creativity (which he values a lot!) than anything else.

That's quite true! This is so interesting. He's one of those "knowledge is power" borderline cases like Willow or Wesley ( ... )
