d8ghd8gyd8y woe ♥ I'm sorry, what on earth. Hopefully this means tomorrow will be a great day, because um. All the crap stuff happened today? I AM NOT BEIGN REASSURING IN THE LEAST.
Eek! Well, at least you're not hurt and that's the most important thing. It seems bad, of course, but it could be a lot worse. I'm sure you'll figure out a way to handle it all. I'm sorry I can't offer you rides. But I can offer you bus schedules. Sorry, car accidents are scary shit.
I didn't actually get into an accident, the brakes just went out while I was driving. I made it into the parking lot okay, but I needed to get the car towed and stuff so... yeah :\
Ah, in that case you got really lucky. When I think "breaks went out" my mind jumps to, you know, an episode of "Monk" or something where the guy crashes into a couple fruit stands before driving off a pier. That'll probably be a lot faster to fix than body work, too.
Oh my god, Kait. *huglikewhoa* At least people are being supportive of you when you need a hand! And as long as your car can be fixed and you're not hurt, it'll be okay pretty soon.
Not being very reassuring, am I. ._. *more hugs*
(If this isn't an inappropriate time to ask, when will you be around this weekend?)
I just feel so stranded without it. I mean, I'm so used to driving everywhere, and I know it's a luxury, but it's also, you know, how I get to classes and work and the grocery store and stuff :\
I'm trying to look on the brightside--at least when they went out I was close enough to work to get into the parking lot before they stopped working completely.
(And it's not inappropriate, don't worry! I will be home basically... all weekend, starting after I get dropped off by Becca tomorrow. Because I have no way to get anywhere else, so... yes ^^;;)
