My car is so happy right now. It is full of gas! That never happens! But today my gas station was at $2.79 when I passed it, and I just couldn't resist. Also, I had a little bit of cash on me, so... yes. I was very happy, and so was my car ( Read more... )

$2.79? You're lucky. There's nowhere around here that's less than $3. Stupid metropolitan area. >:|

New Jersey has some of the lowest gas prices in the country! It's cause we're a lot more awesome than those stupid Jersey jokes let on XD

YOU AND YOUR FULL-SERVICE GAS STATIONS
WE HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR OUR GAS AND WE HAVE TO WORK FOR IT, SOMEHOW THIS DOES NOT SEEM ENTIRELY FAIR. DAMN YOU, CONNECTICUT.

(seriously i still don't get full-service gas stations :P)

Gas in NYC, well, at least Brooklyn, is like $3.29 a gallon. $2.99 is a steal lol.

In Jersey we're spoiled by a very low gas tax. We have some of the lowest gas prices in the country. (I think we're... third lowest? Or fourth.) But yeah, I definitely try to plan my gas usage around when I'll be in NJ when I'm at school, because I hate the idea of paying NY prices for gas.

I filled up in Iowa before I crossed the border, and it was $2.65. Wooooo ethanol!!

I think it's like $2.80 or something here, though.

I guess one benefit of living in the middle of no where is gas prices - ours is $2.50 at the co-ops!

But then I go to school and have to pay DC-area prices. Which sucks.

XD
