I did nothing today.

I actually wrote on my schedule "NOTHING" in big red letters. I wanted a day off. So I took one. No worrying about writing or papers or reading for classes. No worrying about the future or what was going on with people. I sat down in front of my teevee and watched Sports Night, L&O:CI, and CSI. Also part of Clue. I took a nap ( Read more... )

I saw the West Wing promo tonight during the Olympics and LITERALLY choked on my tea. *flails*

Also: Have we ever discussed the fact that I LOVE CLUE. A LOT. ? Because, I do. I know all the words. And have been known to argue about the endings with my brother for rather longer than one would hope a sane person would.

*gasp* I missed it! Where can I download it at (if you feel like sharing, of course). I haven't watched the show in ages due to study meetings, but I'd like to see it anyways.

2. re your friend steve being as crazy as you are: i think that my mom, in her college days, out crazies-us all. like, i told her we were going to graceland/great smokey mountains, and she was like "that was one of me and carol's first roadtrips! i don't really know why we went there, it just seemed like a good idea. it was fun though." and another time: "well, i ran into carol, and she was like, 'i want some lobster', so i said 'oh... do you want to go out to dinner?' and she was like 'yeah, let's go to boston [from chicago]. so, we drove all night to boston, ate a really nice meal, and then drove home. it was really good lobster though. you know that candle-holder made out of a lobster claw we have in the library? the claw is from the lobster we ate in boston. we named it ralph."

3. i like those shoes! i've actually been contemplating getting a pair almost exactly like that. they're all... streamlined. like the shoes of the future!
