I haven't started reading those yet! We read Black Hills for the podcast and we were soooooo into it! I mean, obviously, compared to the shit we normally read, anything at least slightly entertaining is good, but I genuinely really enjoyed it, so my friend gave me a literal box of them to dive into once I have time. I'M PRETTY STOKED. But one of them is def the the first of that series, so I will REPORT BACK :D

What is Over the Garden Wall?

Over the Garden Wall is a Cartoon Network miniseries that aired last year! It's currently streaming on Hulu and it just came out on DVD! It follows two brothers, Wirt and Greg, who are traveling through a weird creepy forest called "The Unknown." It's ten ~10 minute episodes, so it's really short, and it's really beautifully animated and the story is awesome and the characters are awesome and the songs are awesome and it's funny and creepy and great!

The OtGW tag on my Tumblr will give you an idea of the visual style and stuff! BUT YOU SHOULD WATCH IT IT'S SO GREAT!

Hey, I was wondering if I could tap your expertise and get recommendations for children's books to get for my sibling's kid that will be born in a few months. Sib has specifically requested books to read to niece when she arrives. Could you give me a few ideas? Thanks.
