This was originally written as a gift for pearl_o. I meant there to be a second part and did all these notes and world-building about it, but it was a Secret Mutant Madness gift and I had been traveling and was behind and was holding the collection open to try and finish it, and eventually just had to be like, "Fuck it, I haven't even slept yet, I just need to post the finished part one." I always meant to go back and finish part two (I have about 2k of it written), but after SM, I usually crash hard and then I had, I believe, a big bang to finish and...life just got in the way. SOMEDAY. MAYBE. IF ONLY TO USE THAT MUTANT EMERGENCY SERVICES WORLDBUILDING
