I was pretty sick this morning getting ready for work, so I ended up staying home, which always feels like a lost day when my boss is out of the office. Oh well. I def couldn't have managed the hour or so between leaving my house and getting to work without being sick again, so it was for the best :\

I think my favorite bit is probably Charles and Erik's discussion about their relationship after Dr. Strangelove. I like the physicality of that scene and the anticipation--at this point, they've both sort of acknowledged that they're dating and have been for months, they just need to talk through it. I like the affection and the tension and all of that stuff. Plus, it was a fun scene to write.
8) something I wish I’d done differently
I wish I had seeded their relationship a little more, maybe introduced Angel and her Opinions about Erik's relationship with Charles a little earlier. In my head, they have definitely been dating in all but name for months, and that's obvious to everyone around them, but Erik is (on purpose) an unreliable narrator and I think it makes Angel's comments, when they do come, seem like an exaggeration? idk.
(Overall, this is a story I like a lot, so it's hard to come up with things I'd change XD)

This is a really boring answer, sorry XD So, I saw Cap 2 at like, two in the afternoon, started talking about this story immediately on the way home from the movie to metonymy. We watched Gravity Falls for a few hours at my house after, then I drove Naomi home and spent the drive talking more about this story, then came back to my house, sat down, and wrote the whole thing in one sitting XD It was really straight forward--I had it all worked out from the car trips talking it out so the whole story came together pretty quickly.

I don't know that there's anything that I deleted of that fic aside from clumsy wording, etc. I think I went through some alternate outfits for Erik, but I honestly can't remember what any of them are now XD
3) my favorite bit
EVERY BIT IS MY FAVORITE THIS STORY IS PERFECT.
I think my favorite bits are everything Michael Kors says. Both "I died, I'm dead, I'm twenty ghosts!" and "I want to hear more about his assets" in particular. Oh, and also this part:
"Fifty years," Charles reminds him. "You've not murdered me yet. You're not going to do it on camera."
It's true, he'll do it at night, in their bedroom, where no one else can see it.

So my favorite fic of yours (right now, I have yet to read all of them!) is The Mystery Which Binds Me Still. Such a beautiful, haunting story that even thinking about it NOW gives me chills.
And so, I'm interested in hearing about 2, 5, 9. :D
