Oh, Raven, you're almost as great at giving Erik a hard time as Charles is. I love the mixture of love and annoyance and guilt-at-being-annoyed Erik is feeling about Raven being sick - yes, that's being a family.

I love the throwaway line about Mr Summers making Erik sit in the car during soccer practice.

There's a lot of backstory in my head about how Erik gets really angry at the other parents berating their kids and his kid and has a tendency to pick fights with them. And whenever he does, Chris Summer makes him sit in the car until the game is over. Which is humiliating to him on several levels, but Charles won't let him book any arguments, so he just has to slink out and watch from the parking lot.

I approve of Erik being sent to time-out on a regular basis.
