So, at some point, driving somewhere with littledust and brilligspoons in the car, I mentioned how I could probably make an entire Charles/Erik mix using only Dar Williams songs. Because they are enablers, they encouraged this and before long I was throwing this together

that ending was perfect. love the Charles POV and the slow burn of his healing.

I love the end.
It's heartwrenching how those two drift apart, and so inevitable. And I do believe that it would be Charles making the first move. He's less stubborn.
Also, seeing Erik teach at the school is something I hope for in one of the following movies. It's already canon and I wants it.
