So, today was a bad news sundae with with extra bad news whipped cream and a depressing cherry on top. I've reached the point in my string of reprehensible luck where I can either suck it up, trust that things will work out, and stop worrying, or I can curl up and cry for the entire weekend, unable to even drink my cares away as my stomach is wonky

I'm not bashing Tosh--the only person I even joke about bashing is Jack and I'd still never post a bashing fic about him unless it was cracky and very tongue in cheek. But lots of people seem to get bent out of shape when she and Ianto aren't BFF. My queer_fest fic is about Ianto sort of lecturing Tosh and Owen when they make assumptions about him and Jack and are annoyed that Ianto hadn't said anything. And I predict that I will get at least one comment (probably more) along the lines of, "But Ianto and Tosh are such good friends!" Which has no basis in canon. SIGH.
